Abu Dhabi's Modon Brings Montage Hotels to Egypt Inside the $35B Mediterranean Megaproject

Modon Holding, Abu Dhabi's master developer, has officially joined forces with American luxury hospitality brand Montage Hotels & Resorts to launch Montage Ras El Hekma, a high-end resort and branded residential development within Egypt's most ambitious infrastructure project to date.

What Is Ras El Hekma?

Ras El Hekma is a 170.8 million square metre coastal mega-development on Egypt's Mediterranean coast, approximately 350 kilometres northwest of Cairo. The master plan is valued at $35 billion and is projected to attract up to $110 billion in cumulative investment by 2045. The vision is effectively a new city from the ground up, complete with residential and commercial districts, international marinas, a central business district, cultural venues, and multi-modal transport infrastructure. It stretches across 44 kilometres of coastline.

Montage Ras El Hekma: What's Being Built

The development is anchored in Wadi Yemm, the first precinct of the broader masterplan to enter active delivery. What investors and buyers will find there:

Bill O'Regan, Group CEO of Modon Holding: "This partnership aligns perfectly with our strategic plans to position Ras El Hekma as a world-class Mediterranean destination focused on luxury tourism, elevated lifestyle offerings, and long-term investment value."
