Saudi Arabia Launches National AI Ethics Framework for Media: What Every Business Operating in the Kingdom Needs to Know
Saudi Arabia has unveiled a national AI ethics framework for media at the Saudi Media Forum 2026, developed jointly by the Ministry of Media and SDAIA. The framework introduces mandatory disclosure requirements for AI-generated content, an explicit prohibition on deepfakes and misleading media, and accountability obligations for every entity producing or publishing journalistic content in the Kingdom.
