DUBAI – The UAE’s landscape of "eat-tainment" is about to get a massive tech-driven upgrade. AKCEL Holding, a Dubai-based conglomerate, has partnered with XRange Golf Entertainment to develop a network of next-generation golf venues across the Emirates. The strategic agreement is valued at over Dh1 billion.
These destinations aim to move beyond the traditional fairway, blending high-tech driving ranges with digital gaming, luxury hospitality, and upscale dining. This expansion aligns with the booming UAE gaming market, which is projected to hit $857 million by 2032.
A Tech-Driven Vision for Tourism
The initiative isn't just about sport; it’s a calculated play into the UAE’s surging gaming and tourism sectors. By integrating interactive technology into the golfing experience, the partnership targets a diverse demographic—from casual tourists and families to corporate groups.

The Powerhouse Behind the Investment
The project is fueled by the AKCEL Growth Fund, an institutional platform based in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). "Experiential leisure is becoming an increasingly important component of modern real estate development," says Amit Kaushal, Chairman of AKCEL Holding. This sentiment echoes the record growth seen at DIFC recently.
AKCEL Realty, the group's real estate arm, will lead the physical development, leveraging its experience in the UK and UAE markets to bring these high-concept venues to life. Following successful models in the US and UK, XRange founders MG Keyser and Jake Shepherd aim to redefine the sport for a younger, tech-savvy generation.
